Thryv Hosting Free Virtual Seminar for HVAC Pros
Thryv Holdings, Inc., a publicly-traded software company that helps small businesses, announced it will be hosting its first virtual seminar for HVAC pros.
The free “Connect For HVAC Contractors” event April 29 will feature tips for business growth and networking opportunities, according to a company press release. Attendees can network with other business owners in the home services industry and learn growth strategies from speakers who are experts in their field.
The event is scheduled to start between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. CT with a discussion on building on success in 2021. Other topics include addressing pressing industry questions and “political, economic, and tech trends that affect small business owners in today’s business landscape,” according to the release. The event will end with a presentation by Thryv and a question and answer segment.
“We decided to dedicate this Thryv Connect to HVAC contractors and business owners to help them leverage the latest technology to grow their business, connect with clients, and increase cash flow through easy-to-implement strategies,” Joe Walsh, CEO of Thryv, said in the release.
Scheduled guest speakers include Barry Moltz, a small business expert at Shafran Moltz Group; Gene Marks, president of The Marks Group; and Susan Frew, business growth director at Raincatcher.
“I am honored to be working with Thryv as they are committed to helping trade service entrepreneurs through the most unusual times in our nation’s history,” Frew said in the release. “The entire series is designed with their audience in mind to create powerful, relevant and effective content to take the trade services to a whole new level.”
Thryv, which owns YellowPages and other successful businesses, was founded in 2013. In June 2020 it reported $1.3 billion in revenue for the previous fiscal year, according to the Dallas Morning News. Thryv is headquartered is Dallas, Texas, and has more than 2,000 employees.
